Tulip Hakuun

Tulip Light and Dreamy is one of the dreamiest tulips in the world. On a soft pink background the purple flame emerges from the dark stem. Tulip Light and Dreamy has a very special colour palette to dream away in spring. Darwin Hybrid tulip are famous for their long stems, large flowers and long flowering time, excellent for the garden. This variety was found in 2011.

Named after the rock-cut churches of Ethiopia built in the 13th century by King Lalibela. The red Tulip Lalibela has more colour than the reddish rock-cut churches, but is much more delicate. With her large flower and striking colour Tulip Lalibela must draw as much attention as the eight world wonder in Ethiopia. Registered in 1999.

Every tulip from the Impression series stands for quality, long flowering time and great colours, but Tulip Apricot Impression has a very unique colour. From a soft pink base you'll notice an apricot glow getting stronger towards the edges. Found as a sport of Tulip Pink Impression and a sister of the Tulips Red Impression and Salmon Impression. Tulip Apricot Impression was registered in 1996.

The golden yellow with blood red Tulip Banja Luka has a unique colour pattern. The large flower always carries a yellow base, but is then touched with a brush to paint a broad red band with these yellow flakes at the edge, a resemblance with an Olympic torch is quickly made. Tulip Banja Luka is excellent for cutting, but of course great for the garden. Named after the second city of Bosnia Herzegovina. Registered in 1998.
