Tulip Gavota
Tulip Gavota is loved by its shape and colour. The burgundy flower is edged with bright yellow on a pointy shaped flower which gives great contrast when she opens. Winner of the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS for its great characteristics. Not easy to combine, but with the yellow Tulip Stronggold she makes a great show. Tulip Gavota was found in the Czech republic in 1995. Gavota is a dance which was popular in France in the era of Louis the 14th.

Tulip Continental

Tulip Continental flowers in April, just before the classic black Tulip Queen of Night. Every black tulip is unique, so is this one. In sunlight the colour is faint, while it is pitch-black in the shade. A nice detail is that the stem changes colour from green to black to change back again where the flower starts. Found in 2011.
