Tulip Dordogne

Tulip Menton has a soft pink flower with an apricot edge. This beauty stands on high stems and has a long life, so ideal for cutting. If you've ever been to Menton, you'll know why this tulip bares its name. Flowers in early May. Introduced in 1971.

Tulip Maureen is the highest pure white tulip on the market. The flower is as large as a mug and is clearly visible from a distance. This late bloomer is great to combine with early bloomers. Tulip Maureen will grow high above the spent flowers to prolong this spectacle. Winner of the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. Introduced in 1950.

The fuchsia pink Tulip Renown has a huge flower on a high stem. This late bloomer gives the garden a cheerful colour and is also great for cutting. Introduced in 1949. Found as a sport of the yellow Tulip Mrs. John T. Scheepers.

A bright member from the French Tulips range is the red Tulip Avignon. Blooming in early May with a height almost up to your hip, you will notice that the large goblet shaped flower shows lovely colours as tomato red, a sweet pink flame and an apricot edge. Tulip Avignon is lovely to combine with other French Tulips and great for cutting. Named in 1966 after the Southern French city of Avignon where the pope had his palace in the Middle Ages and also famous for its ruined bridge. Sur le Pont d'Avignon, On y danse, On y danse. Tulip Queen of Night is the most famous black tulip. Long sought after, but finally found. The black tulip! Well in fact it is very very dark purple, but for us its black enough. This tulip stand on long elegant stems and makes a mysterious impression in your garden. A late flowering tulip that blooms in early May. This is the true Queen of Night. Introduced in 1944.
